How to get here

By Road

Whether arriving from the north or the south, the easiest route is to get onto the A3 which runs from Naples to Salerno (or vice versa). Take the turn off for Castellamare di Stabia and then follow signs for Positano. Guest looking to take a more scenic route may choose to drive along the winding Amalfi Coast cliff-top road from Salerno, with its breathtaking panoramas and heart-stopping precipices!

On arrival in the town of Positano, you’ll find the Royal Prisco Hotel on the main road, Via Pasitea, at number 102. If you can’t find us, ask any of the locals for directions, but don’t take a taxi!

Planes Trains & Buses

The nearest airport is of course Naples and the nearest main train station is Napoli Garibaldi. From Napoli Garibaldi take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento - this line literally circumnavigates the awesome spectacle that is Mount Vesuvius. From Sorrento take a coach along the Amalfi Coast to Positano.

Alternatively, you can take the train to Salerno from Naples and then take the same coach going in the opposite direction, thus taking in the awesome spectacle that is the Amalfi Coast and passing through the picturesque towns of Amalfi and Praiano on the way.
